Kerry Washington asks people #SocialDistancing to not purchase products labeled WIC, sparking discussion on Twitter, with people thanking her, saying they had no idea what WIC was, while others said they were on it, and it saved their lives

Currently, Kerry Washington is back in the spotlight, starring opposite of Reese Witherspoon in “Little Fires Everywhere,” on Hulu. The first three episodes of that show have been released. While Kerry Washington is still handling business, she had a message for the world.

Getting back into the swing of regular, everyday, life is tough, with there being no answers from Coronavirus. As people are quarantining, the government is telling people, daily, they don’t have answers. So, people are stocking up on groceries, and preparing to be shut down.

Kerry Washington sparked quite the discussion, on Twitter, with her post, earlier this week. The former “Scandal” star asked people to not purchase products labeled WIC. Surprisingly, many people on Twitter didn’t even know what WIC (or SNAP) were, causing a major debate with those who do, and the effectiveness.
