The coronavirus pandemic is affecting everything in the world, from people’s health to concerts and sporting events. The SXSW conference and festival in Austin was canceled and the Dreamville Festival in Raleigh, NC set to take place in April was postponed to August. All pro sports leagues have also halted any games along with the NCAA Tournament this month.
Post Malone apparently didn’t let the virus stop his show in Denver at the Pepsi Center last night, though. He performed in front of a very packed arena but received a lot of backlash on social media for not postponing the show and the Runaway Tour in general. According to TMZ though, he has officially announced now that the tour has been postponed.
The Runaway Tour was scheduled to run all the way up to July 2 where it would’ve concluded in London at Hyde Park. Hopefully, things get better in the world in a month and everything is back to normal in sports/entertainment as well. Post also released his third studio album ‘Hollywood’s Bleeding’ in September and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Getting more video from inside @pepsicenter. Thought I was seeing empty seats for @PostMalone in the middle of COVID-19 outbreak. Turns out… it’s packed. So much for social distancing. #9News pic.twitter.com/8uPbHN0lEi
