Last weekend, DaBaby was set to perform at a Tampa nightclub but that didn’t happen at all. As he was going through the crowd outside, he slapped a woman in the face after he claimed that she hit him in the face with her phone. The Charlotte rapper later apologized on social media.
This young lady is Tyronesha Laws and she recently appeared on TMZ to say that she suffered a bruised cheekbone and that Baby hit the wrong person as she didn’t flash him with her phone or hit him. Baby’s attorney has since denied that she was the one he hit.
Laws has now filed a lawsuit against him in the aftermath of this incident. Court documents state that Laws was in the crowd who was waiting for Baby to go perform prior to being assaulted. She also noted that Baby doesn’t regret what went down as he made an Instagram video skit with comedian Michael Blackson about the situation.
Laws’ attorneys, Matt Morgan and Chelsea Cromer of Morgan and Morgan labeled the incident as “outrageous and shocking.” She is suing Baby for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and damages. No one should blame her for this lawsuit. Baby had no business slapping her and he has horrible interactions with fans.
