The 2010s, like most other decades, ushered in a new wave of music, and a new generation of stars. By 2008, it was clear Ludacris was not maintaining the luster he once had. Instead, T.I. appeared to have the city of Atlanta, along with the South, locked down.
Even Tip’s reign was coming to an end, as 2 Chainz, formerly one half of Playaz Circle, as Tity Boi, was making major noise. He, alongside Future, a surging Gucci Mane, and Waka Flocka, were taking over. At his age, though, many questioned 2 Chainz’ longevity.
Dominating 2012 and 2013, 2 Chainz stepped away in 2014, was virtually forgotten by 2015, but began a comeback in 2016, culminating with hits in 2017 and 2019. His biggest accomplishment, during this timeframe, was getting married, though. Being married doesn’t mean going blind, however, as 2 Chainz admired @customizeeme, the lady above, on Instagram, but she was quick to shut it all down, blasting him for being married.
