Roddy Ricch’s Breakout Hit Single, “The Box,” Officially Certified 4x Platinum

Roddy Ricch made a lot of noise with his ‘Feed Tha Streets‘ mixtapes from 2017-2018 but started to really break out as a star last year. He released his debut studio album ‘Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial‘ The lead singles were “Big Stepper,” “Start Wit Me” featuring Gunna, and “Tip Toe” feat. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.

Surprisingly though, “The Box” ended up being the most popular song on this project and became the biggest song in the country as it rose to the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It’s momentum hasn’t slowed down at all as The Box has officially gone 4x platinum by the RIAA. This is after the record sold 4 million album-equivalent units.

In addition to The Box being certified 4x platinum, it has also been the top song on the Hot 100 for nine consecutive weeks now. The video for the record was officially released two weeks ago and has amassed over 39 million views.
