The year of 2020 has not been the best for the NBA, overall. Starting, though, things were on a high note, as LeBron James passed Kobe Bryant as the league’s third all-time scorer. A day later, a  helicopter crash claimed the lives of Bryant, his daughter, and seven others.

Since then, that cloud has loomed over the NBA, as there is a silent sadness, with the world still grieving. Now, there is Coronavirus, which has claimed the lives of several, originating in China. Already, the NBA braced for games with no fans, starting with the Warriors, tonight.

Now, there are claims that a Utah Jazz player has tested positive for the virus. Being proactive, the NBA has decided to suspend the remainder of the season, to stay ahead of the virus. Tonight, the league issued an official statement regarding the matter.
