Megan Thee Stallion talks label lawsuit, J. Prince, her mom’s influence, and more on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

In 2018, Megan Thee Stallion began an incredible run, where she gained a lot of momentum. However, Megan took a backseat to QC’s duo, City Girls. With JT going to prison, Megan and Yung Miami received a lot of comparisons.

Despite Megan coining the “Hot Girl Summer” phrase, Yung Miami coined the “City Girls Summer” phrase. These phrases are basically interchangeable, but some were giving Yung Miami the credit. Not going into beef, Megan trademarked her phrase.

Megan Thee Stallion went onto drop her “Hot Girl Summer” single, featuring Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign. Scoring a huge hit, Megan would get into drama with 1501 and Carl Crawford, leading to J. Prince speaking out. On “The Breakfast Club,” she spoke on that, J. Prince, her mother, and more with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God.
