Pop Smoke’s Memorial Service Officially Underway in His Hometown of Brooklyn [VIDEO]

It’s been over two weeks now since rising Brooklyn rapper Pop Smoke was shot and killed in a Hollywood Hills, CA mansion. Police have since had trouble in their investigation though as potential witnesses won’t speak while others are changing their stories. Smoke’s family recently had a private funeral and today, his public memorial service is taking place in Brooklyn.

Videos have surfaced on social media of fans gathering in his neighborhood as horses and cars will be passing by in the street. Smoke’s death is still affecting the hip-hop community greatly but today is about celebrating his life and the success he experienced at the very young age of 20.

50 Cent has since said he will be executive producing Smoke’s album and it will be out in May. Roddy Ricch has already confirmed himself as a feature. 50 has since called for Post Malone and Drake to appear on it as well. Smoke made a name for himself in 2019 with his hit single “Welcome To The Party” and his “Meet The Woo” mixtape. Last month. He released the sequel which featured the “Christopher Walking” single along with “Dior” remix featuring Gunna.
