How hard social media fought for “The Game” is a big reason for all of the dope programming that’s on, now. When “The Game” was airing, the biggest name in pop was Rihanna. During that era, Rihanna was dropping albums every year.
Meanwhile, Wendy Raquel Robinson made people forget she ever played a principal. How she brought Tasha Mack to life made her into a legend. One of her most-legendary scenes was her intentional off-key singing of Rihanna’s “Take A Bow” in response to a business betrayal.
Despite that legendary scene, where Irv Smiff (PJ Byrne) hilariously interjects to sing with her, Wendy Raquel Robinson and Rihanna never previously met. Earlier this week, all of this changed, as Wendy got her chance to meet Rihanna and she totally fan-girl’d out on her, but it was all in good fun.
