From day one of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, Amara La Negra has had no problem showing the world how much she loves her mom.
However, we hadn’t really heard much of her dad.
Well, that was until tonight’s episode, where she opened up about her father and why she hadn’t mentioned him much in the past.
The singer spoke with her mother about a recent call she received from him, and Mama Amara wasn’t here for it.
Apparently, Mama Amara had been begging Daddy Amara to step up to the plate all throughout Amara’s childhood, but he remained absent.
Now, he finally wants to come around, and despite her mother’s unpleasant stance on presence, Amara seems to want a relationship with him.
So much so that she even invited him to her concert.
Revealing the news to her mom ended in a big blow-up and a walkout on Mama Amara’s end, but all of it eventually panned out.
Both her mother and father showed up to her performance.
Separately, of course.
Her dad explained that he wanted to be there, but legally, without his “papers,” he couldn’t be.
While some of us were glad to see the reunion, Twitter is still going off about Amara’s dependency on her mom’s opinion.
