The death of Kobe Bryant is still something that is so unreal to most. At the same time, it’s probably too real to his wife, daughters, parents, and siblings. Not only did they lose him in that crash, they also lost their daughter, sister, granddaughter, and niece, Gigi.

When Kobe Bryant died, rumblings about his 2003 rape allegations began, as the accuser was said to speak out. She ultimately changed her mind, but Gayle King brought it up during her Lisa Leslie interview. That choice led to Snoop Dogg coming for her in a big, loud, way.

“Inside The NBA,” which is Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Ernie Johnson, and Shaquille O’Neal sat down with “The Today Show’s” Craig Melvin. While discussing Kobe’s legacy he, too, brought up those allegations. Charles Barkley took that on, saying it’s important to not paint Kobe as a hero, as he had his issues, too, which he overcame, but that part of his life shouldn’t be overlooked.
