The 2008 Boston Celtics are the standard that all Celtics teams will be measured by because they are the last Celtic team to win the championship. A member of that team, Kendrick Perkins, spilled the beans on how he felt about another former Celtic, Kyrie Irving.
“Kyrie Irving didn’t want to play for this franchise. Every time I think of that guy I want to throw up,” Perkins said during the Houston Rockets and Boston Celtics game last night.
Perkins has been known to tell it like it is and he didn’t hold back on how he felt about Irving. Kyrie Irving had a tough tenure with the Celtics as he called out teammates and always seemed to have one foot out the door. It seems like the animosity is still there between both parties.
