Kodak Black Believes He Got Screwed Into 46 Month Prison Sentence; Fighting to get Time Taken Off

Kodak Black seems to be going through it serving his current prison sentence. The Florida rapper, his family, and legal representation have been crying out against the treatment he’s be been experiencing since his time locked up at Miami’s FDC prison.

He’s accused several correctional officers of abuse and drugging him throughout his several prison transfers. Latest reports have him potentially being transferred to a federal prison in Kentucky, where he will be serving the remainder of his 46 month sentence.

In fact, Kodak believes he was unfairly sentenced and now he is fighting to get time taken off. The rapper’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, is seeking to appeal the length of his sentence. Cohen argues that his client shouldn’t have been sentenced as a prior convicted felon when he went down for the gun possession charge. He notes that Kodak took guilty pleas which didn’t result in convictions. Per the condition of those deals, there wouldn’t be any conviction on his record. So in essence Cohen believes the judge gave came down on Black too hard, convicting him as if he were already a felon.
