Kelis shocks Twitter, when she reveals Pharrell and Chad Hugo, of The Neptunes, ripped her off, with her publishing, leaving her with very little earnings from her first two albums

In recent years, Kelis has been absent from the headlines, outside of the stories about her and Nas’ breakup. But, Kelis has returned to the conversation, in a big way. Many wonder where she went and Kelis spoke out, revealing she and Pharrell had some issues.

Due to his knack for making hits, Pharrell is considered one of the heroes in the game, alongside Chad Hugo, as The Neptunes. These guys have crafted hits, across genres. They also helped Kelis establish her career.

Unfortunately, according to Kelis, they didn’t look out for her, on the financial end. When she confronted them, according to her interview with The Guardian, Kelis said they told her it was the contract that she signed. Initially, she wasn’t aware she signed a bad deal, due to her making money from touring, and this whole recounting has Twitter shocked.
