Normally private, Tracee Ellis Ross is in the headlines, due to a reported romance. This man is one that hits very close to home for both her and her fans. According to rumors, Kenya Barris, the creator of her hit sitcom, “black-ish,” is her new man.
“black-ish” premiered, back in 2014, and has consistently been one of the most-popular shows on TV. The show is loosely based on the real-life marriage of Kenya Barris and his wife, Dr. Raina “Rainbow” Barris, who divorced in 2019. Previously, they filed for divorce, in 2014.
In an odd turn of events, Kenya Barris has seemingly divorced the real-life Dr. Rainbow for the TV version. The struggles ‘Bow (Ross) and Dre (Anthony Anderson) have endured in their marriage were based on the struggles of the Barrises. However, now, word is that Kenya Barris and Tracee Ellis Ross are dating.
