Lizzo was arguably the hottest artist of 2019 and also the epitome of the saying “greatness takes time.” Her 2017 “Truth Hurts” single finally took off and became the top record in the country. It appeared on the deluxe version of her “Cuz I Luv You” album which was released in April of last year. Fans were surprised to know that this is also actually her third album and has been in the game for a while now. This project went on to peak at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Cuz I Luv You’s momentum continues to roll over into 2020 as it has now been certified platinum by the RIAA, according to Chart Data. This is after successfully moving 1 million units. This project contained 14 hits in total with other hit records such as “Jerome” and “Juice.”

While Cuz I Luv You is doing very well, Lizzo’s 2016 single “Good As Hell” is dominating the charts too. This record appeared on the EP “Coconut Oil.” Lizzo simply grinded and waited her turn and now she’s dominating the industry. She is also set to perform at the GRAMMYs in Los Angeles this weekend.
