Family of Odin Lloyd Distraught After Netflix’s Aaron Hernandez Documentary; Says It’s Making It Hard to Move On

By Prince Hakeem

Since the release of Netflix’s “Killer Inside: The Mind of Aaron Hernandez”, the lives of everyone involved has been disturbed. Google searches of Aaron Hernandez has sky rocketed in the following weeks since the documentary dropped. After several new revelations regarding Aaron’s life, upbringing, and sexuality, it’s been as he was brought back to life. Even though he died by suicide in 2017, the memory of Hernandez is still haunting the family of Odin Lloyd.

According to reports, the new documentary is making it hard for the Lloyd family to continue in their healing process after Odin’s murder. The revitalized attention surrounding Hernandez’s life and crimes has opened old wounds for the Odin family, sending them to a dark place just as they were beginning to move. They get approached with offers to participate in Hernandez specials all the time, yet always decline. Of course they didn’t sign off on the latest doc by Netflix. The streaming company used enough old footage of the family to make it seem as if they participated. The family even pointed out that Netflix used pictures of Odin without their permission. While they’ve let it slide, all they want is to be left alone and for Odin’s memory to rest in peace.
