Vic Mensa has been relatively quiet over the last few years musically as his last project was his debut album, “The Autobiography” in 2017. Last year, he was beefing with Tekashi 6ix9ine where 6ix9ine clowned him during a radio interview on Hot 97.

The Chicago artist is now facing some legal issues as according to TMZ, as he was arrested for felony of possession of brass knuckles. This went down earlier this month in Glendale, CA. Police say that he was stopped for an unsafe turn in his car and the knuckles were found during a pat down. He did not facing any problems in the end from the police for the unsafe turn though.

While brass knuckles are okay to own in many states, it’s illegal in California and is labeled as a “fist-load weapon.” Mensa was taken to jail shortly after the incident where he was able to post $20,000 bond.
