At the end of December, former President Barack Obama put out his top songs of 2019 on social media. J.Cole, Lizzo, DaBaby, Summer Walker, and Wale are some of the artists that one of our best friends was vibing to. Now, his wife and former First Lady, Michelle, has put together a workout playlist for 2020.
Mrs. Obama included some clean versions on this playlist such as The Carters’ (Beyoncé and Jay Z) “Apes*it,” Cardi B’s “Press,” and the late Nipsey Hussle’s “Hussle & Motivate.” We also see Bey crack the list with more records such as “Before I Let Go” and Destiny Child’s “Lose My Breath.” As many know, Michelle and Barack are close friends with Beyoncé and Jay Z.
Michelle also included a “Cool Down” side of the playlist for people who want to take things slowly after going hard in the gym. Meek Mill’s “24/7” single with Ella Mai, “Godspeed” by Frank Ocean, and “Show Me Love” by Alicia Keys and Miguel are some of the relaxing vibes included here.

It's about that time when New Year's resolutions get a bit harder to stick to. To offer a little inspiration, I want to share my go-to #WorkoutPlaylist with you. These songs always seem to give me that extra boost to get through my toughest workouts. What's on your playlist? pic.twitter.com/GFP56Yi9A6
