The Baltimore Ravens got cooked at home last night in their AFC divisional round matchup against the Tennessee Titans, 28-12. Tennessee also shocked the Patriots in New England last week, 20-13.
Prior to the Ravens’ game, Drake showed love to QB Lamar Jackson earlier this week who has been a beast this year and is the favorite to win the MVP award. He wished Jackson a happy birthday earlier in the week as he posted a pair of sweatpants that said “Truss” which is the catchphrase of Ravens Running Back, Mark Ingram, who has had Jackson’s back all year. Drake’s caption was “More life happy birthday @new_era8.”
Drake has been known in sports to cheer for many different teams by wearing their apparel with his support resulting in those teams losing in big games. This was definitely evident in last night’s loss. He’s supported Kentucky and Alabama in college basketball and football and they suffered the same fate. With the exception of Drake’s home team Toronto Raptors, the Drake curse is very much alive.
Jackson was decent by throwing for 365 yards and a touchdown but he did have two interceptions and a lost fumble as well. He did do his thing on the ground game as usual though with 143 rushing yards. Nonetheless, he still had his struggles in this game after an amazing regular season.https://twitter.com/ravens/status/1214580844427390982?s=21
