DaBaby was arrested on Thursday night for his involvement in the robbery of a man in the Miami area. The video showed Baby’s crew robbing a man named Kenneth who is a club promoter in the area. The robbery went down due to Baby only getting $20,000 out of $30k total for a club appearance, not a performance. He was robbed of his iPhone 7, a credit card, and $80. Baby is now in jail due to a warrant in Dallas which was for him assaulting an airport employee.
According to TMZ, the Miami promoter’s name is Kenneth and is already getting calls from lawyers so he can sue Baby as he plans to. He suffered injuries near his eye and the top of his head from the robbery. For the event that Baby was supposed to appear at, it was Stunna 4 Vegas’ birthday party at Cafe Iguana Pines in the Broward County area and he was going to host the event. The $30k was a discount due to Baby’s relationship with Stunna.
Kenneth since had to go get his injuries looked at by a doctor and they are nothing short of serious. He added that he never got the $20k back from Baby. Baby had a major 2019 as he released two albums and put out plenty of hit records. It’s sad to see him put himself in this position as he was building momentum for 2020.
