Allegations existed against R. Kelly for decades, and the #MeToo era finally brought him down. Opinions, within the hip hop community, about the R. Kelly situation are mixed, at best. There are many who are still standing by R. Kelly, citing predators from other cultures walking free.
Then, there are those who have turned on R. Kelly, which includes pretty much the whole industry. Early in his career, Trey Songz was compared to R. Kelly. If social media has anything to do with it, their careers will strongly resemble each other, soon.
Trey Songz has had mounting sexual allegations against him, which date back a few years. The popular singer has now had an old interview, from 2014, with Bebe Rexha, go viral, where she talks about him forcing a kiss on her. That has caused Twitter to dig up Keke Palmer’s old interview on “The Breakfast Club,” where she detailed her Trey Songz experience.
