Much credit is given to Jay-Z for his illustrious career, which has him now sitting at a $1 billion net worth. But, Jay-Z had many people helping him, Dame Dash among them. It was actually Dame who was the business end of Roc-A-Fella Records.
Damon Dash was responsible for Cam’ron and Juelz Santana blowing up with Roc-A-Fella and for Kanye West’s initial success. He also was responsible for Twista’s 2003-2004 peak of his career. Before that, he dated Aaliyah and they were serious, when she died.
Despite this, Dame appeared in the “Fiesta” music video, R. Kelly’s 2001 single with Jay, and also in Twista’s “So Sexy” video, which also featured Kells. Tonight, Dame was blasting R. Kelly, saying he never worked with him, and fans called out Dame’s own history, and pointed out him in his videos, despite his denials.
