In 2012, Nick Gordon rose to the spotlight, when Whitney Houston died. She was a mother figure to him and some said she actually adopted him. Despite that, he was Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend.
Through the years, Nick Gordon didn’t have the best reputation. As Bobbi Kristina inherited her mother’s empire, he was being accused of controlling her. This argument was aided by him being older than her.
When Bobbi Kristina, herself, died in 2015, some blamed Nick Gordon for this. While he was never formally charged, in her death, his reputation never improved. Today, Nick Gordon has died at the age of 30, from an apparent drug overdose, having been in ICU, where he suffered a series of heart attacks.
