The 2010s are coming to a close and it was definitely filled with memorable moments and plenty of breakthrough superstars. As far as the highest earners, the legends still reigned supreme.

Forbes released their top 10 list of highest paid musicians of the decade and to no surprise, Dr. Dre came out with the top spot at $950 million. The only album he released over the last ten years was 2015’s ‘Compton’ but is still one of the best businessmen in the industry as he is remembered the most in this decade for selling his Beats By Dre headphones to Apple for $3 billion. He still walked away with a 20% remaining stake. This summer, he also officially became hip-hop’s first billionaire. You can’t forget that he’s one of the best rappers of all-time in general either.

Taylor Swift is arguably the best pop artist of this decade and she is proving that case as she came in second on Forbes’ list at No. 2 with $825 million. In addition to this accomplishment, Swift is also the highest-earning female musician of the decade. This year, she also released her seventh studio album, “Lover.”

Someone else in the running of the title for best pop artist of the decade is definitely Beyoncé. She came in at third on Forbes’ list here at $685 million. Bey is already a legend and has been since the 2000s. The stardom was there ever since she was in Destiny’s Child.
