Last year, Meek Mill, Philadelphia 76ers Co-Owner Michael Rubin, and New England Patriots Owner Robert Kraft all helped create the REFORM Alliance. This was in order to address the issue of unjust mass incarceration that continues to plague America.

Meek, Rubin and Kraft all gave back to the community in a major way today as this morning in New York City, they all took children affected by mass incarceration on a shopping spree at the NBA Store, according to TMZ Sports. Brooklyn Nets co-owner Clara Wu Tsai, Nets small forward/shooting guard Caris LeVert, and DJ Khaled were all in the building as well to brighten these kids’ day. Each child and family received $500 to spend.

Following the shopping spree today, the kids were flown out out to Foxborough, MA to see the Patriots take on the Bills. This definitely had to be an epic day for these children. Much love to Meek, Robert Kraft, Michael Rubin, and REFORM for making this happen.
