A veteran in the game, Fabolous came out of the gate making hits. He has a background as a hardcore rapper and his first two singles were just straight bars. But, he didn’t break through, until he began making songs for the ladies, and that became his niche.
When the mixtape scene went mainstream, Fabolous went right back to his hardcore roots. First, he had his There Is No Competition mixtape series, which was followed by The S.O.U.L. Tape series. Now, he is focused on his Summertime Shootout series.
The Brooklyn rapper released the third installment, just last week, and, already, Fabolous has good news. Like his previous albums, Fabolous made a major impact on the charts. This project is the seventh top ten debut of his career.
