It was absolute mayhem at the end of the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland. Myles Garrett became public enemy number one when he attacked quarterback Mason Rudolph. With just 8 seconds left in the game, Garrett struck Rudolph in the head with his own helmet.
It was a wild moment, which has sounded off across the entire NFL. While everyone is of the general consensus that Myles Garrett is a scumbag, many others are praising Maurkice Pouncey for coming to his quarterback’s defense.
Pouncey summoned all of his Florida energy to put the paws on Myles Garrett. As soon the helmet connected to Mason’s head, Pouncey came over and started swinging at Garrett. Another Steelers line was on top of Garrett, so the kicks and punches didn’t really connect.
However fans on twitter have nonetheless showered praise upon Pouncey, calling him a ‘real one’ for seeking revenge in defense of his quarterback.
