Back in 2012, ABC News did a special on Chicago’s hip hop scene, questioning why the rappers’ lyrics were so violent. But, it was all a part of the environment they grew up in. The rappers who make it out, or the ones who get close to it, get killed, more often than not.
Lil Reese is a veteran Chicago rapper, a part of that 2012 wave, which was led by Chief Keef, and kept alive by Lil Durk. It was Reese who was considered the glue. Tonight, news reports hit of him being shot in the neck.
Whether or not he was actually shot in the neck remain to be seen, but the shooting made the news. Those close to Lil Reese have come through with pivotal information. The Chicago rapper, Lil Durk, revealed that Lil Reese is okay.
