Nicki Minaj sparks more Twitter furor, when she mentions white media gives her better coverage than black media, citing Wendy Wiliams feud, and E!’s coverage, with Nina snatching her own wig #NightlyPop

Success brings criticism, but criticism doesn’t need success to be brought to a person. Regardless of how people feel, no one can take the success Nicki Minaj has had away from her. For the better part of a decade, she was THE only charting female rapper.

Nicki Minaj didn’t just dominate rap, she also had a huge impact on the pop charts. Beginning in 2013, backlash began building, and some credit that to Iggy Azalea’s 2014 success. In 2016, Remy Ma blew up, and Cardi B took the throne, in 2017.

Not only has Nicki Minaj dealt with rap backlash, she also has been accused of racism. Previously, she got into trouble over using the #BlackGirlTragic hashtag. Now, she has sparked racial debate, with her feud with Wendy Williams, over how black media covers her, versus white media.
