John Witherspoon is dead? Twitter seems to believe rumors of comedian, John Witherspoon, being dead, but there’s no evidence of this, and his Wikipedia has him listed as alive, so the RIP tweets may be premature

These days, a celebrity falling off the radar could mean something bad has happened. On one hand, they could be sick, and/or dying. Then, on the other hand, they could be prey for a rumor about their death, which happens too often.

In the case of John Witherspoon, he isn’t necessarily out of the spotlight. He has done a few interviews, recently, where he discussed both Friday and “The Boondocks.” However, he is getting older, as he is 77-years-old.

John Witherspoon, for that very reason, is the target of what we believe to only be rumors of his death. Because of his legacy, which actually began with an appearance on “What’s Happening Now!,” he has a devoted fan base. All over Twitter, fans are sending RIP posts, and questioning his death, but those RIP posts may be premature, as Witherspoon’s Wikipedia hasn’t been updated to reflect his death.
