In August, Popeyes had America buzzing due to the success of their spicy chicken sandwich. It sold out in two weeks as the demand was just that high. There was speculation that the sandwich would return this month but it never happened.
Popeyes now has official date for the sandwich’s highly anticipated return. In an announcement on Twitter, they revealed that November 3 will be the date. In the video, a highway sign featuring different fast food restaurants were shown with Popeyes on there.
Popeyes took a shot at Chick-fil-A as it said they are closed on Sunday but they themselves aren’t. The video concluded by saying “The sandwich is back. Sunday, November 3.”
