T-Pain Cancels Upcoming “1UP DLC” Tour Due To Low Ticket Sales And Holds Himself Accountable For Not Being Hands-On In Planning It Because Of His Schedule [VIDEO]

T-Pain was set to venture on his 1UP DLC Tour but things have gone downhill in a hurry and it is now officially canceled. The Florida artist took to Instagram to say that it was due to low ticket sales.

Pain said the tour was originally set up in September but things already got off to a very rocky start. Production was missing and he admitted that he wasn’t very hands-on with planning things due to his busy schedule. He was very optimistic that this tour was originally going to do well due to the success of his first 1UP Tour.

“I thought since the first 1UP Tour went well and sold out every city, it should be good,” he said. “Having said that, I’m gonna take it upon myself to cancel [the tour]. It just would have been a bad look for me and it wouldn’t have been entertaining for y’all.”

Pain added that he was advised to make up lies about why the tour was being canceled and not say that it was because of the low ticket sales. He didn’t want to do that because the fans should know the truth and not plan to go to shows that are half empty.

“I was advised to lie about this and say that I needed some time, or I needed some alone time or me time or some shit like that. “We f*cked up. I’m gonna keep it real with y’all. Most artists lie. Whenever concerts get cancelled or tours get cancelled, it’s for low ticket sales.”

Shout out to T-Pain for keeping it real with the people and having their best interest at hand. A lot of artists in the industry do make up things to avoid telling the truth about low ticket sales but Pain did a great job of breaking down the situation.
