Due to injury, Paul George is expected to miss some time, early this season. The Los Angeles Clippers successfully went through their rebuilding era, however. They came out better than most teams, though, only missing the playoffs once.
In free agency, the Clippers won big, when Kawhi Leonard decided to come back home. Reminding the world HE was the NBA’s biggest star of the moment, Leonard signed with the Clippers. Most knew he was leaving Toronto, but assumed he’d join LeBron’s Lakers.
Instead, Kawhi Leonard signed with the Clippers, who took a squad of backup players to the playoffs. Kawhi signing led to Paul George being traded from the Thunder. But, on opening night, PG is sitting on the sidelines, and the suit he’s wearing is getting him roasted on Twitter, with all kinds of prom jokes.
