It looks the silver screen likes what they see from Cardi B cause it was just announced that the Bronx native is joining a big time movie franchise.
Fresh off of her small but very impressionable role in the ‘Hustlers’ movie, it’s now being reported that the ‘Bodak Yellow’ rapper has been casted in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 movie. It looks like Bardi will have another small role in this upcoming project, but it’s great to see her expamding her entertainment brand and portfolio. She’s definitely made for the big screnn with her larger than life vibe, energy, and unabashedly personality. In terms of her acting chops, I’m sure the technical stuff will work itself out and she’ll pick up the right skills as she furthers into an acting career. This move eerily reminds me of another female rapper who was a hot Fast and Furious casting at the time of her height. That would be Iggy Azalea, and her role turned out to be great.
Vin Disel took to his instagram on Tuesday to announce the casting
“I’m tired, but I can’t wait,” Cardi said alongside Diesel. “I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one.”
