Tekashi 6ix9ine Inks $10 Million Record Deal With 10k Projects; Will Release Both English And Spanish Albums

Tekashi 6ix9ine was in court last month snitching on the Nine Trey Bloods who robbed him of his jewelry in his hometown of Brooklyn in the summer of 2018. He also said fellow New York rapper Jim Jones is part of Nine Trey in addition to Cardi B and Trippie Redd having gang ties. This was all to help him avoid doing 47 years in prison on racketeering, murder conspiracy, weapons and drugs charges.

6ix9ine used to be signed to the California-based 10k Projects record label but now, he’s back on the team. According to TMZ, he has inked a $10 million deal with them from jail. Once he’s out, he has to give 10k two albums. One will be in English and the other in Spanish.

6ix9ine also feels that once he’s out of prison, his snitching in court will be forgotten. It does feel like in this era, snitching isn’t taken as seriously as it was in hip-hop back in the day. The Nine Trey Bloods he snitched on ended up getting charged with kidnapping and racketeering. As far as 6ix9ine he could be released in early 2020.
