Backlash against Nicki Minaj has slowly been building, since 2012, but not becoming fully evident until 2016. Since then, it’s been outright hostile for Nicki Minaj. Early in 2017, Remy Ma raged war on her, but then Cardi B blew up, and the world began pushing for that beef.
