Honestly, there are not two people who could not be any more similar than Ray J and Marques Houston. Both guys are from LA and both are singers and actors. Furthermore, both had success on children sitcoms, before really breaking through in music.
Their music careers had similar trajectories, but both were rarely ever seen at the same place, at the same time. Early in the B2K breakup, there were even rumors of Ray J replacing Omarion. By 2014, Ray J and O were cast mates, and seemingly friends.
However, despite the UPN “Cuts” and “One on One” crossover, the one time where Ray J and Marques Houston were seen together, they have the beef. In 2008 and 2010, they dissed each other, with videos of Ray dissing MH and Chris Stokes. Finally, “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” is addressing this, but Twitter had no idea about this beef.
