Dame Dash Asks Judge To Toss Out Child Support Requirements to Ex-Wife Rachel Roy For 19-Year-Old Daughter Because He Doesn’t Make Enough With $56,000 Per Year and She Makes $500,000

Roc-A-Fella Records Co-Founder Damon Dash recently publicly called out Jay Z for partnering with the NFL. Now, he’s having some child support issues and is looking for his payments to end due to his own financial issues, according to TMZ.

Dash filed court documents saying he doesn’t want to have any more child support obligations for his 19-year-old daughter, Ava. The payments are going directly to ex-wife Rachel Roy. The number is $6,000 per month. Dash says that his adjusted gross income in 2018 was over $56,000 so he can’t make any more payments.

Dash went on to say that Roy makes much more money than him with her income being $500k per year and takes trips to Europe, Greece, and India. His own defense to get out of these child support payments is that he’s been paying $3,666 per month for his 11-year-old’s private school. Dash does want some of the payments already sent to Roy paid back to him but that likely won’t happen.
