Candace Owens is a black political commentator who regularly appears on Fox News and appeases to white supremacists in America and praises Donald Trump. For some reason, she was invited to a panel at the REVOLT Summit in Atlanta today which also featured T.I.
Owens was defending Trump not being racist and how Ronald Reagan used the Make America Great Again (MAGA) slogan before the way Trump is doing now. T.I. asked Owens which period of time is she talking about when she brings up making American great again. T.I. asked if it was the period where women couldn’t vote or when black people were being lynched.
From that point, Owens continued to avoid answering the question and said she’d rock a hat saying “Make Black America Great Again.” Owens also said slavery was happening all around the world in another horrible attempt to avoid T.I.’s question.
T.I. went on to say that Owens started with some BS and that was a fact. The truth of the matter is that anyone who is MAGA, is bigoted just like their president Donald Trump, who has constantly disrespected anyone who isn’t white, conservative, and hateful. Among the disrespected groups are immigrants, black people, Muslims, and disabled reporters. America was sadly built on white supremacy so it’s not surprising to see this type of behavior getting a pass and earning a the role as president.
