At the end of 2018, Ariana Grande suddenly became the biggest name in music. She released her Sweetener album, last summer, and it was well-received. The “God is a woman” single was a tremendous success, kicking off this new phase of her career.

Ariana Grande went right into the thank u, next mode and the lead single title track put her on top. But, “7 Rings” is the single that had people talking. That record became a huge hit and, apparently, the inspiration for Forever 21’s new campaign.

Recently, Ariana Grande filed a lawsuit against Forever 21, over their newest campaign. After seeing their promo, Ariana Grande and her team felt it copied the “7 Rings” music video. So, she now has a $10 million lawsuit against them.
