Kanye West usually has his Sunday Service with a choir performing in Calabasas, CA but took it to Dayton, OH today to honor the victims who were killed in a mass shooting on August 4. 10 people were killed as 27 others were injured.
West did a great job of bringing happiness to the city today as Dave Chappelle hosted a free block party for free too. That took place in the area where the shooting occurred. Shirts at the Sunday Service were made which said “In reverence of the victims and support of the survivors of the Dayton mass shooting.” The event took place at RiverScape MetroPark.
This was a huge surprise as West supposedly didn’t announce the service until early this morning, according to The Blast. Chappelle also ended up showing up to this event too to thank the people of Dayton for coming out. Check out footage of the event below, courtesy of Kim Kardashian.
