Towards the end of 2012, Young Thug began making a name for himself, as a rapper. A rising star, Thug got the attention of Gucci Mane and was considered next on his roster. As Thug began emerging as a star, Gucci was sent to prison, leading to a label bidding war.
Young Thug began rising to fame, at the end of 2013, coinciding with gay rumors. Much of this began with Thug calling his rap peers “my love” and “lover.” On top of that, Thug took pics of himself wearing a dress and nail polish.
While Young Thug has toned down on those things, the gay rumors were forever sparked. Despite having kids, and a longtime girlfriend, quite frankly, the people don’t believe him. Finally addressing the segment of fans who call him gay, Young Thug told Big Boy he is the straightest man in the world.
