Ghost writing has been a huge topic in hip-hop for a while now. In 2015, Meek Mill called out Drake for not writing his own raps on Meek’s “R.I.C.O.” record off of his “Dreams Worth More Than Money” album and recently, City Girls faced some criticism after it was revealed that Quality Control Music label Lil Yachty mate wrote their hit single “Act Up.”
Bhad Bhabie has been found to have writers for her songs as well and she took to social media tonight to point out hypocrisy. She asked if top female artists like Beyonce’, Cardi B, and Nicki Minaj can have writers, why can’t she. She brought up how people say that singers can have writers but not rappers.
Bhabie added that Nicki and Cardi aren’t singers so they should be addressed for not writing their raps. As expected, people weren’t feeling what she was saying based on the comments on her Instagram Live rant.
