Rick Ross Says Lil Wayne and Pusha T Both Didn’t End Up Getting On “Maybach Music VI” Song Off Of New “Port Of Miami 2” Album Because He Felt It Didn’t Bring The Two Together [VIDEO]

Rick Ross dropped his 10th studio album “Port Of Miami 2” today which is also the sequel to his 2006 debut album. It contains 15 tracks with heavy-hitting features from Drake, Lil Wayne, Nipsey Hussle, Meek Mill, Jeezy, and more.

On Ross’ “Maybach Music VI” record, it was originally supposed to have Pusha T and Lil Wayne featured on it but instead, it was John Legend and Wayne. The absence of Pusha surprised everyone as fans felt that the initial of Pusha and Wayne on the track together signaled no animosity being shown after 2018’s Drake-Pusha beef.

Ross was interviewed by Hot 97 today and was asked about why Pusha and Wayne didn’t end up both being on Maybach Music VI. Ross said that both of their verses got cleared but just didn’t feel that the love was genuine and didn’t bring them together at this point. The Miami boss added that he wants to see Drake, Kanye, Wayne, and Pusha all hop on a track with him later on though. Having Pusha and Wayne on Port Of Miami 2 would’ve been historic. It’s sad that we didn’t get to hear it but hopefully we see them work with Ross or just the two together separately soon.
