August 31 marks five months since Nipsey Hussle was tragically shot and killed in his hometown of Los Angeles in front of his Marathon Clothing store. His murderer, Eric Holder, is still in jail in solitary confinement. The outpouring of support for Nip and his family has been real as they continue to stream his music heavily and purchase apparel from his store.

Hussle’s girlfriend, Lauren London, just took to social media to announce via The Marathon Clothing that a new business endeavor is on the way in honor of him. A “Nipsey Hussle Tower” will be built on 3420 W. Slauson Avenue. The announcement added that the early development stages of the tower to commemorate his memory will begin soon.

The Marathon Clothing will continue to be closed at this time but orders can still be placed online. It’ll be interesting to see what events take place in honor of Hussle at this new tower dedicated to him. Check out the announcement below.
