This is now week 3 of A$AP Rocky being locked up in a Stockholm, Sweden jail for an assault charge where he defended himself and his security from a stalker who followed them for a mile, hit his security with headphones, and sexually harassed women at the same time. Many rappers continue to boycott going to Sweden and Donald Trump is supposedly working on getting him bail but he does clout-chasing moves all the time so it might be something we take seriously from him.
If A$AP is found not guilty, it could come back to bite Sweden because they could be legally obligated to pay him millions of dollars, according to TMZ. This could be due to all the money he’s losing from his incarceration such as all the show money he’s been missing. On Thursday, he will formally charged with aggravated assault.
12 shows have already been cancelled with seven more being canceled through September as well. A$AP may possibly miss out on a total of $2 million. Prosecutors are already thinking that the man assaulted was acting in self defense despite the obvious evidence in the video. Hopefully, A$AP gets out soon and is able to get back to the money because he’s being unjustly incarcerated.
