Comedy Central Stand-Up Dina Hashem Issues Mediocre Apology For Saying XXXTentacion’s Murder Looked Like A Good Venmo Commercial During Her Show; Says It Won’t Be Aired On TV [PHOTO-VIDEO]

This week, Comedy Central stand up comedian Dina Hashem was performing at the This Week at the Comedy Cellar show and made a very insensitive joke about XXXTentacion’s murder. She said that the way he was killed at the motorcycle dealership that he was leaving from would’ve made for a good Venmo commercial.

Hashem is now taking to social media to apologize for the disgusting joke. She says that she didn’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings and as a comic, she tries to use jokes to try to make dark topics less painful. She realized that nobody felt that way and that this won’t be aired on TV.

What’s sad about this situation is that the audience was laughing at this joke as well. It was likely a predominantly white crowd in the audience who didn’t realize the impact that X’s death had on many hip-hop fans. Check out the bad apology and video of the joke below.
