Soulja Boy was sentenced to 240 days in jail and 265 days of community service in April after he was arrested not completing community service hours and planning to lie about it. He also had ammunition at his house. He supposedly kidnapped his ex-girlfriend against her will as well but that case was dropped by prosecutors.

Now, Big Soulja is getting out 146 days early due to good behavior, according to TMZ. The L.A. Sheriff’s Dept. added that overcrowding also played a role in his release. Soulja was released a little bit before 2AM local time.

Soulja Boy made headlines at the beginning of the year by saying that he had the biggest comeback of 2018 over Tyga and Meek Mill. During an interview with The Breakfast Club, he also took credit for Drake’s success and made the claim that he put on artists such as Rich The Kid, Chief Keef, and Famous Dex on. During that moment, his the famous “Drakeeee?” meme was created. The jail sentence looked like his buzzing 2019 would be over but it’ll be interesting to see if he can rebuild his momentum again.
