As Lil Nas X continues to break all the cultural and musical rules of both hip hop and country, his breakout hit is also continuing to break more records. After beating out the likes of Drake and Taylor Swift for the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 for the 13th week, ‘Old Town Road’ has become the longest running hip hop record to sit on top of the list.

Only two other songs, Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road” and Brandy and Monica’s “The Boy Is Mine,” have achieved the same feat of 13 weeks at No. 1.
